Thanks Jim and Mark both for your responses.

I'm not comfortable at all with grub, only used LILO in the past. Tried
grub once with 7.1 on a server install, had problems and went back to
lilo.

If I do the install (including boot files) to scsi, do I need to
activate the scsi bios? If so, how will this affect the DOS/NT boot?
How will booting from floppy affect it (scsi bios)? This is why I asked
about installing rh boot files to the free ide portion. I'm not as
concerned with speed as I am with stability ("nt" = "not today", this is
why I'm still playing with Linux.)

I should also say that my system partition for nt is setup for dos/nt
dual boot, with nt setup on fat16 (had too many problems in the past
with ntloader corrupting on an ntfs partition.)

I really appreciate the help from all!
