Yeah, it's pretty much the same with Win. I spend more time at the
command line in NT than in the GUI, so this should be an easier
transition than if I were part of the computer users who think that the
GUI is the OS. ;-)
If a person is not comfortable on a
keyboard then I could see where Linux would be unattractive, but that's not
a problem for me. Sometimes I like working at the command line better than
working within a point and click type interface.
Again, I agree. I started working with personal type computers in 1978,
on a Commodore PET-2001! Imagine my initial shock when it was not like
Spock's console on Star Trek... <g>
