Steve, Are you sure the your kernel supports iso9660? Check that /proc/fs ( /proc/filesystems ) shows iso9660 in your kernel. After that I'd reset the system ( reboot ) to make sure that one of the drivers hasn't gone out to lunch. ( Or you could do the rmmod/insmod thing ). Did you setup the kernel parameter for ide-scsi or did a script set it up?
