I have to use Microsoft Closedware all day at work, ...though I do make sure to use putty (MIT Lic.) to ssh (BSD Lic.) to an OpenBSD (BSD Lic.) host where I use mutt (GPL), Vim (Vim Lic.) and postfix (IBM Pub. Lic.) to send posts to a Mailman (GPL) mailing list manager. In the words of Billy Joel: "My other world is just a half a mile away." And that's all that keeps me going sometimes. ... That and the "Edit with Vim" option in my WinXP context menu. :) Side-note: GNU describes the IBM Public License (incl. Postfix's Secure Mailer License) as incompatible with the GPL. However, Debian has deemed the IBMPL as "Free Enough" for inclusion. Any comments on this? How strict, really, is Debian in license censoring? Any input, Sam?
