Where are you located at? I have direct line of sight to most points of the Reno/Sparks valley. You may want take this discussion over to the Reno Area Wireless Users Group list (rawug.org), as there are many people over there interested in creating a mesh. The question is how many volunteers can they get? Also, I hope that the data you have available for download is public domain. I wouldn't advertise my collection of movies and mp3's on a public mailing list, as that is asking for legal trouble. -- Mark C.
