I don't remember if we went over this before, but what video driver are you using for the Nvidia card? There are two different drivers, the stock driver that comes with xorg/XFree86 (Open Source) and probably shipped with Suse, or the driver from Nvidia's website (closed source). The Nvidia driver has a substantial increase in performance over the open source driver, since the open source version is basically reverse engineered. If you are already running the closed source driver, then try getting the latest version, 6626 (I think). Mark -- Mark C.
