There is the CDLUG (Carson-Douglas LUG), which is primarily a group of
Bentley employees who work in Douglas and live in Carson. Last I heard,
their meetings were in Carson, but they've fallen fairly silent
recently.

Feel free to give them an email on their mailing list and jumpstart them
back into things. In many cases, it just takes someone to rouse people
from the routine of their lives.
Outside of this, RLUG is pretty much the only place that I know of in
northern Nevada for Linux and Unix users to meet and chat.
