If it doesn’t support output through
the sound card, get the Linux client as well and have the server tune in to
itself. From: Rick Shepherd
[mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] I was thinking about building a Linux box to server MP3 over
my home stereo. I want to be able to do the playlists over a web
interface (no keyboard, mouse or monitor at the box). Linspire has an
MP3Beamer that works well but I don’t know if it can output to a
stereo. Typically that device outputs to the laptop or desktop that
connected to it’s web interface. I found a TON of examples but
wanted to know if any of you had opinions on this matter. I have a huge
CD collection that I want to rip so that needs to be considered as well but
that is less important. Rick Shepherd |
