Hello:

I have 9 official (Canonical Ltd.) CD distribution "twin packs" for x86. Each pack contains both the installation and the live-CD disks. Ubuntu is based on Debian, and installs just about the same way (it's a little easier). It is my favorite out of about 15 different distros I've tried since 1997. I want to do something like give these away to LUGgers or other interested folks who do not have high speed connections, and therefore can't download the CD and get all the net distributed packages and updates, and who want to try Ubuntu. For that matter, it may be that said person has never tried Linux- who knows?

Any suggestions? Anyone interested in a copy? Just let me know and we'll figure out a way to get it to you.

I live in Carson City, on the south end of town. I work on the north end of town, in the industrial park. I will be away from the computer all weekend, but back at it next week.
