Hey Dennis,
I don't use evolution -- so I'm taking a wild stab here. It should be
possible to export your mail/etc from evolution on Suse into a file that
can be easily imported into evolution on Ubuntu. This should be a
function of the evolution software.
Wait! Is Suse still running? I'm confused.

Hey gang,
I'm in the process of changing distros from Suse to Ubuntu. I have a copy of everything
from the Suse /home directory and want to do a few "simple" conversions like:
Transfer my contacts and old pop mail from the Suse version of Evolution
Re-install VMware.
The Evolution issue though seems a bit sticky....
Suse put the Evolution data files under the directory Evolution within
/home/$user.
Apparently Ubuntu takes a different approach. Or do I have to set up Evolution
in Ubuntu first to create the necessary stuff in the /home/$user?
Anybody have info on this?????
Thanks
Dennis
