Count me in. I'm always down for some hands-on hacking. It's the best way to learn.
Currently, I'm installing OpenBSD on an old computer just to see if I can. I'm going to set it up as a sort of ssh tunneling server so I can connect to services inside my house from the outside through a secure tunnel. It's similar to a VPN, but uses only ssh.
