Does anyone know how to do this and would they be willing to explain it to me? I don't have much experience with kernel stuff. This is what my kernel menu has to say:

File systems --->
 DOS/FAT/NT Filesystems --->
     <*> MSDOS fs support
     <*> FAT (Windows-95) fs support
     (437) Default codepage for FAT
     (iso8859-1) Default iocharset for FAT
     <*> NTFS file system support
     [*] NTFS debugging support
     [*] NTFS write support

Thanks,

-Austin

So clearly NTFS isn't loaded. Your kernel either doesn't have NTFS
properly compiled in, or you never built/installed the loadable modules.
