Hi.

This couldn't be more off topic. sorry. just for fun though, I'm
looking for evidence of the looming natural gas implosion. ;) You may
or may not know of the natural gas end of the peak oil issue. Some are
worried that as natural gas wells lose pressure, so do the lines coming
into our houses... which will, on older appliances, cause pilot lights
to go out, and maybe on some really old appliances, potentially cause
gas leaks.

Anyway, I'm expecting this is a non-issue at the moment, but the pilot
light on my water heater has gone out twice in the last couple days. I
know of one other place that has had minor pilot light issues. I'm
wondering if this is any more wide spread (at least locally), or if
these are two isolated events. And... perhaps if this is a more wide
spread phenomena, maybe it's typical in Reno this time of year because
of wind or something?

I'm just having a bit of fun. I hope you don't mind. This group is
serving as a convenient group of locals. Thanks for your patience.

- Anna
