Hello, This should come from the current limitation in RBH that do not keep archive_id information in SOFT_RM table, causing the hsm_remove request to be trashed by Lustre CDT. I have pushed a recent patch in RBH to fill this hole, it is post 2.5.5. A work-around is to register copytool with archive_id 0 (for « all archive ids »), thus all RBH hsm_remove requests for already removed files sent with archive_id=0 can be handled. Bruno.
