Hello,
This should come from the current limitation in RBH that do not keep archive_id
information in SOFT_RM table, causing the hsm_remove request to be trashed by
Lustre CDT.
I have pushed a recent patch in RBH to fill this hole, it is post 2.5.5.
A work-around is to register copytool with archive_id 0 (for « all archive ids
»), thus all RBH hsm_remove requests for already removed files sent with
archive_id=0 can be handled.

I have test robinhood V2.5.4 for a while.
I got a question about the HSM rm module:
I delete a file which has been archived to the backend.
Then i use the command "rbh-lhsm-report -R" to show the status of the
deleted file.
After the grace period time , the logs said that the file was deleted from
the backend.
But when i go to the dir of the backend ,i found that the file was not
deleted at all.
I checked the source code of HSM-rm module, the delete action was done by
the funciton "LustreHSM_Action".
The LustreHSM_Action called "llapi_hsm_request" to do this delete action.
BUT it sounds that this function is from lustre and it always return 0.
Is anyone run into this ? Can anyone help?
