Hello,
Robinhood works in 2 steps: populate a database with the filesystem
contents, then apply policies using the contents of the DB.
The DB is mandatory for Robinhood to work.

directory have predefined owner/group and umask. I don't need fast
search and typical DB capabilities and I've found database speed an
issue a few times..
