Hello,

Robinhood works in 2 steps: populate a database with the filesystem contents, then apply policies using the contents of the DB.
The DB is mandatory for Robinhood to work.

Thomas

Is it possible to use robinhood just to apply specific policies - execute tasks without database baceknd?

In my environmnet I'd like to make sure that files in specific directory have predefined owner/group and umask. I don't need fast search and typical DB capabilities and I've found database speed an issue a few times..

cheers,
Marcin
