Comment by pekka.klarck:Kevin, this looks more like a RIDE or wxPython issue. If you can run `pybot --version` successfully, then the core framework ought to be installed OK. In that case, you should verify that you have the latest Unicode version of wxPython 2.8 series installed. If you have, then please submit an issue to RIDE's issue tracker at http://code.google.com/p/robotframework-ride/issues/list
