Comment by pekka.klarck:Good that the problem was resolved. `settings.cfg` isn't removed when RIDE is uninstalled because its purpose is saving settings persistently. I don't know why the file was corrupted, though, so please submit a bug report to RIDE's tracker if you can reproduce it.
