Hiya Pekka,
This feature is one of the main features I need in RF - I cannot stress it
enough.
I will explain why....
The "automation team" develop keywords, and the "manual team" use RIDE to
develop test cases. The manual team attach the html files to test cases in
Quality Center. Our framework then gets the attachments and executes them
using RF.
What we then want to do is update the test status back in Quality Center,
we in the output.xml file we have no TestID number to do that.
What we would like to do is use Tags in RF for "features" or "test plans"
but use metadata on the test case for external Id's.
If we use tags, the test report will not be good, as for 1000 tests, we
will have 1000 tags...
Its very odd you dont want to fix this, without it the RF test case cannot
reference any test case management tool
