good to know. If on windows the sub-process in question always terminates
with 1 on signal Ctrl-C (etc.), the proposed pattern should work as well on
windows, just the patch of the acceptance tests need to be modified.
I think, the chosen API permits the testcase to verify in a reliable way,
if Wait For Process did run into timeout. :)
