A problem with changing the underlying remote library is that it is not
possible for the library to change what keywords it provides (see issue
#293). The solution proposed here would thus work if you host same library
on different hosts, but hosting different libs would not work. Just
supporting the former use case would probably be fine but the limitation
would need to be documented.
At this point the best way forwards would probably be creating a separate
project and publish it on PyPI. That would allow others to test it, and if
it turns out to be useful we can include it in RF 2.9.
