I've put the robots list back on moderation for a while. It seems that the last piece of spam was either submitted by a legitimate subscriber or used forged headers to masquerade as that subscriber.
There's more I can do about this, but it'll take a little time -- I'll be routing all list messages through the same measures that are working well for our individual accounts here. I thought it would be relatively safe to turn off moderation in the meantime, but obviously not. Sorry again for the annoying messages. And I appreciate those of you who have previously expressed gratitude and sympathy. Note that my work on this problem isn't entirely altruistic -- I'm quite interested in spam prevention in relation to reputation systems, so I'm learning plenty of valuable things.
