Rather than write your own robot, you can instead take advantage of existing
search engines and simply search for pages that link to your obsolete page.
For instance at <plug>northernlight.com</plug> you can use search syntax:
LINK: http://ourworld.compuserve.com/homepages/MIDIMAGIC/
Other sites have similar "power user" syntax.
