I never used this task but having a look into the orogen file, it seems
you did not configure the transformer. Didn't?
stream_aligner do
max_latency 0.1
align_port "color_frame",0.3

transformer do
transform "input", "pc"

I am using the image_preprocessing component, specifically the

for the frame port (it's a port driven task) is never called...as I
