So, I have an ipod video, and I love rockbox (I'm a user back to the
original 6GB archos), but the lack of power management is indeed a problem
for me.
I'm not too sure if it's due to lack of developer time, or lack of hardware
docs. Either way, if it helps, I'd like to wager $100 towards an effort to
bring runtime within at least 90% of the original firmware (or whatever is
deemed to be reasonably achievable if there is an unresolvable documentation
issue)
If you think this has a chance to succeed, please accept my wager. If there
is no current way to gather wagers like mine, I can look into some kind of
online petition to get more wagers.
