"Recent bookmarks" is the only dynamic menu, as far as I'm aware of, and in my eyes it is really inconsistent when to e.g. the database item is static in the menu even for people who don't use it (and no-one complained here either). And *no*, I'm not suggesting to make it dynamic too, rather make "Recent bookmarks" static and maybe revise the order of the main menu a bit, so it is not at the top. Something that just crossed my mind thinking about this was to have "Resume playback" at the top so there's another easy way to resume from the main menu?

I'd agree with this too, and go one step further: Simply always track recent bookmarks. If someone's using bookmarking, they're eventually going to click the "Recent Bookmarks" item, and it should always be populated if it's always there. Plus it removes one more setting from the menus.
