Just out of interest, what is that project, and do people running Debian
Stable (ie: Lenny at present) really have the opportunity to use the latest
bi-monthly release of it on their system, without needing to use Volatile or
non-standard repositories etc?

I'm aware of the ClamAV project, which can be very difficult to maintain under
a Debian system, because an update to the main scanner might become vital in
order to use signatures after a certain date, but the new scanner doesn't get
included in Debian Stable until the next major release (which can be 2-3
years after the previous one).

I'm intrigued how an application with a bi-monthly release cycle fits into a
distribution with a 2-3 year release cycle.
