QEMU, Skyeye, Armulator are all possible choices.  IMO it comes down to
whichever looks like it'd be easiest to integrate.

Pick a device thats relatively easy for you to get.  A Portaly Player
device such as an older Ipod or Sansa or an AMS device (newer Sansa)
might be good choices.  PP is not not documented, but its relatively
simple and extensively reverse engineered.  AMS is well documented
but theres less reverse engineering done so you may find suprises.
