So wait, the idea is to enable this mode so that you can force other
people to do the work of adapting the rest? Wouldn't, ideally, you adapt
things to absolute touch yourself if you feel it needs done so badly? It
seems somewhat bad form to do it this way.
I wouldn't say it's bad form. It's something we've done before - making a
change that has some issues in order to "force" them to be fixed (can't
recall what they were off the top of my head though). Sometimes it's just
not feasible to put all the work on one guy.
