Diese Woche in der uib zentrale Di, 24. April 07 19.00 h Artist Talks: Daniel Jolliffe (in englisch) und Jussi Angesleva / Richard The Daniel Jolliffe wird u.a. ,Berliner Stimmen' und sein verwandtes Vorgaengerprojekt ,One Free Minute' vorstellen sowie die unterschiedlichen Reaktionen darauf in den USA und Deutschland vergleichen. Jussi Angesleva und Richard The erklaeren ihre interaktive Plakatserie ,Exposure' und sprechen ueber weiteren Projekte. Mi, 25. April 07 19.00 h Praesentation ,Ding - Unding' von Studenten der Hochschule fuer Grafik und Buchkunst Leipzig sowie Christin Lahr / Silke Witzsch. In dieser Praesentation werden unter anderem kuenstlerische Konzepte fuer den oeffentlichen Raum praesentiert und zur Diskussion gestellt. WICHTIG: Die im Programmfaltblatt angekuendigte Praesentation ,Minimale mediale Interventionen im oeffentlichen Raum' veschiebt sich auf Mi, 2. Mai 07. Do, 26. April 07 und Sa, 28. April 07 18.00 h Performance-Tour ,Mitting' von Oliver Hangl, Startpunkt: uib zentrale (Dauer: ca 2-3 Stunden) Oliver Hangl inszeniert zwei ,Secret Tours' durch oeffentliche und private Räume, die das Nebeneinander dieser Parallelkulturen vor Augen und Ohren fuehren sollen. Mit Funkkopfhoerern ausgestattet, werden die Teilnehmer von zwei Tourguides sowie Musikern, Schauspielern, Kuenstlern und DJs sowie einer kleinen Technik-Crew durch die Kieze geleitet. Die Zweikanalton-Technik erlaubt es, selbst zu entscheiden, welchem Guide bzw. welchen Informationen und musikalischen Liveacts man akustisch folgt. Statements von Passanten und Bewohnern fliessen in die Livestreams ein. Auch die Teilnehmer selbst muessen sich auf Ueberraschungen gefasst machen, wenn ploetzlich die Realitaet zur Fiktion wird. Oliver Hangl erklaert Räume, Teilnehmer und Betrachter zu einer offenen Projektionsflaeche - ein audiovisuelles Spannungsfeld, das zwischen Performance, Demonstration und kommunikativem Experiment oszilliert. WICHTIG ,Mitting' kann nur mit maximal 70 Teilnehmern stattfinden. Fuer die Funkkopfhoerer koennen wir leider keine Reservierungen annehmen, daher kommt moeglichst zeitig zum Startpunkt in der uib zentrale. Bitte bringt fuer den Verleih der Kopfhoerer einen gueltigen Lichtbildausweis mit ! He will compare the different reactions to the performances in the United States and Germany. Jussi Angesleva and Richard The will explain their interactive poster series ,Exposure' and talk about other projects. Wed, April 25 7 pm Presentation ,Ding - Unding' by students of the Hochschule fuer Grafik und Buchkunst Leipzig and Christin Lahr / Silke Witzsch (in German)This presentation will introduce artistic concepts for the public space. IMPORTANT NOTE The presentation ,Minimal media interventions in public space' which has been announced in our programme leaflet will take place on Wed, May 2. Thu, April 26 and Sat, April 28 6 pm Performance-Tour ,Mitting' by Oliver Hangl, starting point: uib headquarters (Duration of the tour: 2-3 hours) Oliver Hangl puts on two ,Secret Tours' through public and private spaces that bring the coexistence of these parallel cultures to awareness. The participants, equipped with two-channel wireless headsets that enable them to choose between two alternative streams of information presented by the guides and musical liveacts, will be led through the different areas by two tour guides as well as musicians, actors, artists, DJs and a technical crew. Statements from pedestrians and local residents will flow into the liveact audio streams. But the participants should also be alert to when reality turns suddenly into fiction. Oliver Hangl declares spaces, participants and watchers an open field of imagination, an audiovisual energy field that oscillates between performance, demo-protest and communication experiment. IMPORTANT NOTE ,Mitting' is limited to 70 participants. We cannot accept reservations for the headphones, so please try to be at the uib headquarters in time.
