Equations and Estimations. Exploring beyond reciprocity laws of light intensity and exposure time, we will construct a variation of "kamera lucidas" based on simple photographic mechanisms and optical phenomena. Starting off with instant photographic materials for immediate results, any other kinds of photosensitive material are welcome. Kamera Backs for Instant Films (Custom Polaroid backs from former Polaroid Land Kameras and also 6x6 medium format kamera backs) and some Instant Films will be provided. Participants are very much encouraged to bring their own polaroid backs and films (see details below) as materials are limited. Participants may also bring along anything they wish their kamera body to be constructed from. Film details: Fuji Instant Color Film FP 100 c Professional, Polaroid 665, 667, 669, 689, 690 Polaroid Studio twin Pack or any Polaroid that has the Format 3 1/4 x 4 1/4 inch.
