Can't Login after Register

I'm using roller-2.0.1-incubator with PostgreSQL 8.0.3. I've just  
installed everything and the webapp comes up correctly. I registered  
a user (apparently) successfully. However, when I try to login I  
continuously get wrong username/password error messages. I'm not sure  
how to go about debugging this issue. Anyone with some advice?
