Category of /

Is a weblog entry allowed to have a Category of "/"? If so, what does that mean?
I'm asking that because in Roller 2.1 (RC) the Preferences:Settings screen allows a category of "/" for "posts received via Blogger API". 

However "New Entry" and "Edit Entry" do not list a category of "/".
