The first, has to do with resets. I asked this before with another
question, and recieved no answer.

I have battlement guards on the battlements of my city. There are three
flavors of the battlement gaurds, an about 20 of each mob vnum. Every
single mob reset for every occurance of the mobs are given some rings, a
lantern, and a sword.

When they are slain, they repop in the right place, in the right
number....but...they never have all of the eq. Some have a ring and a torch,
some a sword and a ring...What they have is random, some have none...None
ever loads with all of the eq I have given them. and if one is slain, it
rarely comes back with the same combination it just had. Here is a short
snippet of what my resets look like.

M 1 3056 24 3152 24 the battlement guard to on the southern Battlements
E 1 3024 100 0
E 1 3150 100 1
E 1 3150 100 2
E 1 3136 100 16

M 1 3056 24 3152 24 the battlement guard to on the southern Battlements
E 1 3024 100 0
E 1 3150 100 1
E 1 3150 100 2
E 1 3136 100 16
*
M 1 3056 24 3153 24 the battlement guard to on the southern Battlements
E 1 3024 100 0
E 1 3150 100 1
E 1 3150 100 2
E 1 3136 100 16

You get the point, they are all identicle.

Does anyone have ANY clue what might be causing the random eq?

Now for the second question. Actually...this one is multi-faceted.

Just about all of the builders that I had lined up...have dropped out, or
never started. I don't personally know anyone else...where would be a place
to advertise for quality builders?

I am the only coder on my mud, I just don't know anyone else who has both
the slightest programming background AND the slightest interest in
muds....Up until now, I've been content to wallow in the code solo...but
with 12 classes to flesh out, mob progs to hack into the code, and about 300
other ideas that I want put in...I am becoming daunted of ever making
headway alone. Where would be a place to advertise for a quality...and most
of all...trustworthy...coder?...even One would be a boon of magnificent
proportions.

Also. If I am able to find a second coder...Well...My mud is running on a
machine I have at home on it's own dsl line running win2000 proffessional.
I've never developed in a windows environ(most of the reason I chose it
actually), and I am wondering if anyone might have a suggestion for a
Version control system that I could use.

Thanks in advance for any help that any of you can give.
