First off, There is nothing wrong with your resets. If something isn't working the way you have planned :) start with debugging, run it under GDB, and see whats going on, and force a repop of the mobile and see the code being executed. Check out the code which actually does the repopping and see how values are read and what is going on with those values.
We can't debug your problem by simply looking at a snipplet of your area files, and if we did, it would be a building issue and not a coding issue. Far as getting programmers and builders, good luck with thousands of stock muds and whatnot out there, builders are hard to find, being scrumbled up by some of the smaller muds, too many similiar muds opening out there nowadays. Your best bet is mud connector, kyndig's site, or finding friends which you can trust. Version control for WIN2k? I've never heard of any, and also working in a windows platform is going to be another dylema... it will be difficult for a programmer to go in and develope, and He won't have any remote areas to work with, such as He won't be able to compile the code himself... Mayhaps might think of scrounging up some money and getting a Linux Box.
