I am not familiar with ROT but since its a dervi I would imagine it would be somewhere with th game_loop_unix function, being thats the main function which loops and you said your having problems with looping.. Look in the communications and network handler and check in there to see what is going on.. a billion things could be going you your going to need to do some more troubleshooting then that.
