Ahhh, did someone getup on the wrong side of the bed this morning? You sound like you are taking this list WAAAAY to seriously. In the first place his response was not about Ivan's OLC it was about putting OLC in general into something that he "wouldn't even call C..", at least it could be taken that way. Instead of an attack on his "newbieness" why not write something helpful? In the second place if this list were to take the attitude that you seem to be taking then NOBODY would be able to post in response, 'cept a venerable few that have been on this list for _years_ and even they do much the same things that this poster did... Offer a way to solve the problem. If in your mind this has no bearing on the problem, then refocus on the original problem instead of attacking the poster.
