I realize that this isnt an linux listserver, but I just upgraded to Redhat Linux 7.2 and how do you set the hostname in it.. the file /etc/hostname doesnt exist, when I made the file and rebooted it didnt even read it.. man hostname doesnt help, because the 2 files files it talks about doesnt exist. I finally gave up and juryrigged the hostname by setting the hostname at every bootup.
