First off, I'm running my mud in Windows 98, via
Cygwin.  Just recently when players quit out, it
doesn't completely disconnect them.  It does log them
out, and send a "$n has quit." to the log files, but
it never closes their link.  It does make it to the
close_socket function, but it never closes the socket.
 Has anyone heard of this before, and if so... is
there a fix for it?
