I've noticed that the link will hang on for a minute or two before 
disconnecting, perhaps you're seeing that (and I'm not sure what the solution 
to fix that is off the top of my head other than patience... it's not all of 
the time either which might be an issue with the players connection speed to 
the mud)?  I have also run into an issue where the mud wasn't recycling 
descriptors and after 1024 it would disco upon connection (that one was 
obnoxious).
