(By the way, we run on a Slackware system, and I don't have any core
filesize restrictions...)
But, as it turns out, didn't even need it. :)
Apparently I hadn't bothered to put a check in the update file with regards
to there being zero players online, so, when it would run through the
char_list and check the taxation status for each character (part of my
economic code), if no players were on, it would divide by zero, and segfault
the mud.
Never found this out before, because typically I leave myself connected to
the mud 24/7, and there are generally several other builders on working, but
I started to notice that anytime I would lose my connection to the mud for
some reason, the code would segfault within a few minutes.
So, thanks again for all the tips and advice on the subject, guys!
