ya know, im not angry, frustrated yes, ill eventually figure it out, ive put the msp in the mud, compiled and worked, what im asking is the syntax for setting it in game, ive not seen any help files or anything with it other than installation. Im not knocking him what so ever, but rudeness isnt in my line to deal with. Even tho this list is a code list and most mailing list that ive seen are there to help. I asked a simple question so i wouldnt have to spend the next 5 hrs searching this out. My apologies to Edwin and all who were taken by my post. But, believe me, if I were asking how to start the mud, i would of expected an answer like that, but anyway, that wasnt the question, i was looking for an "ingame syntax"

He did point you in the right direction. One thing you're going to learn
quickly is that most of the old time posters and imps have certain
expectations.
One of those is at least knowing a little about the code. There are
hundreds of books on coding in C. I still use my New C Primer Plus that's
over 14 years old for reference.
Instead of getting upset over what was said, read what was said and ask if
it applies to you. Yes, you are a newbie, all of us were once. Thing is,
this list is several years old, and there are things that people expect.
One thing is, mud coding is not a way to learn C. There are things done
in mud code that are weird, break standards, and are not very readable.
Anyways, here are some links for you to look at:
http://www.kyndig.com - great site with a LOT of good information, faqs,
boards..etc.http://www.mudconnector.com - good resources links, although semi outdated
http://www.hypercube.org/tess/rom/ - Several faqs and links.

There is also an archive of the mailing list... I just can't remember the
address off the top of my head.
Also, MSP is not standard in many code bases. It's something you have to
do yourself.
