Ok, if you already added MSP to your code, then you should have at least
some idea on how to patch (shudder) or at least code. If so, then look
through the code and see if there's a place to add MSP strings.

Odds are, probably not. If there is, then look through the code you have.
 Do a grep, look at the patch, or snippet. If you coded it yourself, then
you should know there's nothing in standard ROM, or even OLC 1.8-2.1 that
adds MSP.
Again, take some time to look at what you have. I can guarantee you'll
get a better response from the list if you do.

Just posting, I can't get social_blag snippet to work doesn't cut it.

Posting:

<example post>
I wrote the following code:

void social_blag (CHAR_DATA *ch, char *arg )
{
    variables

   code

   more code

}

Can anyone see what's wrong? I've looked in the archives, I've checked
the FAQS. I've tried to do things on my own before asking everyone to
help me will get you much further than just posting what you did.
</example post>

This isn't a flame. Most people don't mind helping, as long as the person
has taken the time to at least TRY to work his problem out before asking
for help. Muds have been around for what, a decade and a half? Odds are
someone else has hit this problem and posted somewhere. Google is your
friend.
