Assistant Manager.
General Responsibilities: Assist in the management and supervision of the administrative activities; Manages the screen/place phone calls, handles mails/inter-office memos, screens/schedule visitors, contact parties for meetings, reproduce needed materials; Responsible for the greeting and redirecting of visitors, routing of correspondences and phone calls to appropriate staff; Monitor and control the office supplies inventory; Draft correspondence, procurement, and other agreements relevant to admin; Provide translation/interpreting services for IOCC personnel; Perform other duties as required. Knowledge and Skills: Learn about, study and be able to apply IOCCÂ’s administrative and operational guidelines; basic knowledge of budgeting and finances; good computer skills; strong organizational skills; inter-personal communication skills; very good verbal and written skills in the English language; translation skills both verbal and in written form. Competencies: Ability to build strong institutional and professional relationships with all staff, visitors and suppliers; ability to work with minimum supervision and to take initiative when necessary; work with tight deadlines and handle simultaneous activities; ability to work in a demanding environment. Education: College degree required. Experience: Minimum three years experience working with domestic or international agencies in a similar position;
