PROGRAMME OBJECTIVES: The objective of this call for proposals is to award grants to approximately ten proposals to organise actions to support partnerships: - to develop and test the principles and mechanisms of the future EQF
- to exchange experiences in developing national and sectoral frameworks, and test the principles and mechanisms of such frameworks, using the EQF as a common reference point.
SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES: The proposals under this call should aim to establish transnational partnerships which would exchange experiences and develop solutions and guidance tools at the national, European and sectoral levels.
ELIGIBLE ACTIVITIES: Activities could include, for example: - establishment of partnerships composed of appropriate organisations, competent authorities etc. - development of national and sectoral frameworks and testing their relationship with the EQF
- development and testing of principles, mechanisms and of supporting instruments for the EQF - organisation of seminars, meetings or workshops to discuss testing and development of the EQF and of national and sectoral frameworks
WHO CAN APPLY: Applicants must be entities established in one of the 25 Member States of the European Union, in one of the EFTA and EEA countries (Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway) or in one of the candidate countries (Bulgaria, Romania, Turkey).
PROJECT DURATION: Activities must start not later than 1 January 2007. The maximum duration of projects is 24 months.
FINANCING CONDITIONS: The total budget earmarked for the co-financing of projects under this call amounts to €1million euros. Financial contribution from the Commission will not exceed 75% of the total eligible costs.
DEADLINE: Applications must be sent to the Commission no later than 18 August 2006.
