Communication concerning the Monitoring Report for Bulgaria and Romania
Description: Further to a misunderstanding in a press report we would like to clarify what has been stated by Krisztina Nagy, Spokesperson for enlargement at today's midday briefing concerning the publication of the enlargement package:
The Progress Reports on Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, Montenegro, Serbia including Kosovo under UNSC 1244 and Turkey, as well as the enlargement strategy will be published on 8 November.
The dates for the monitoring report on Bulgaria and Romania WILL NOT CHANGE; IT REMAINS 26 SEPTEMBER
