The Renewable Energy team within the AEA group has a leading reputation for
advising Governments, Local Authorities and the Private Sector. We are looking
to recruit a Renewable Energy Expert to manage the successful delivery of a
diverse range of projects and to seek new business opportunities.
The ideal candidate will have previous consultancy or related experience in
an advisory role working within the renewable energy area (preferable wind or
biomass) and have knowledge in more than one renewable energy technology. In
addition, you will have worked with clients from the public and private sector,
have a network of local contacts and have experience in working in project team
across several sites or countries.
You will have experience in renewable energy and of project management, and
possess excellent written and presentation skills in English which will be
accompanied by an engineering or technical background (first degree or MSc).
Experience of Excel and specific renewable energy software (e.g. WASP,
WindFarmer etc) and of undertaking technical and economic feasibility of
renewable energy projects are essential to this role.
The outstanding candidate will need to demonstrate a customer-focussed
approach, have commercial and business awareness, be a good team player and
have good interpersonal skills.

We are looking to expand our Energy Efficiency team and as such we are
looking for candidates to provide industrial systems and industrial energy
efficiency consultancy services.
You will be responsible for undertaking energy efficiency audits of
industrial facilities to review motor driven systems use and industrial process
efficiency. This role will include analysis of data collected and improvement
feasibility, so good market and sector knowledge is essential as is the ability
to model simple market behaviour.
Knowledge in one or more of these technology types is required:
Motor driven systems, including fan and pump applications.
Process control.
Heat recovery.
This will be coupled with experience in one or more of the following
industrial sectors:
Paper and pulp.
Iron and steel
Refineries.
Chemicals.
Manufacturing.
Non-ferrous metals.
From a mechanical or electrical engineering background you will have a degree
or equivalent in one of these areas. It is desirable to have experience of
private and public sector clients, a good network of local contacts and
experience of working in project teams across several sites or countries with
prior consultancy experience.
