Geological Institute of Romania, Romanian Association of Engineering Geology,
Faculty of Geology and Geophysics have the pleasure to invite you at the
International Symposium "Landslides-environment and society impact", to be held
in Bucharest, October 2007.
Date and Place
The Symposium would take place in Bucharest in October 2007, at the Geology
Museum.
The scientific program
The scientific program will include plenum, oral and posters
presentations which will cover the main domains landslides, risk zoning and
assessment and disaster preventive effects. Also we intend to organize a
field-trip in major area concerning landslides problems.
Publications
For presentations (oral or posters), the abstract will have one page. The
accepted abstracts will be published in to a special volume of Romanian
Institute Annual, and also it will be printed on a magnetic support (CD). The
deadline for forward your abstracts is 30.06.2007. Each participant will
receive one volume containing all abstracts and a trip guide.
The second announcement
The second announcement will be sending in July 2007.
Accommodation
Reservation will be made at the hotels of 2 and 3 stars. Other details
will be made in the second announcement.
Participation fees
The participation fees, hotel room and field-trip prices will be
announced in the second announcement.
