The Opportunity
PricewaterhouseCoopers is looking for Consultants to join our Advisory
-Performance Improvement (PI) team in Bucharest.
The Role
You will work within our PI team and will be responsible for providing
internal audit and internal control advisory services to clients. You will be
involved in internal audit projects in various areas such as:
Internal control reviews
Operational auditing (involving analyzing and solving critical business
issues and improving the effectiveness and efficiency of business operations)
Setting up clients internal audit function
As a Consultant, you will participate in several assignments every year,
contributing your ideas to help shape the direction and approach of the
internal audit. You will also own a segment of the assignment, performing
analyses and tests that the team will use to reach its conclusions. Finally,
you will have opportunities to present the results to various levels of client
management.
What we are looking for in a candidate
At least 2 years experience in Financial Audit / Internal Audit / Internal
Control
Experience in working within a multinational company is highly desirable
Being an ACCA, CIA, CIMA student is seen as a significant advantage
English proficiency
Consultative nature, good analytical and problem solving skills
Good oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a team environment with a professional and enthusiastic
attitude
Ability to learn quickly, be self-motivated, demonstrate initiative and adapt
in a dynamic environment
Availability to travel

The Opportunity
PricewaterhouseCoopers is looking for Senior Consultants in Financial
Services to join our Advisory -Performance Improvement (PI) team in Bucharest.
The Role
PricewaterhouseCoopers' Advisory PI business assists clients to assess the
efficiency and effectiveness of their key business operations, and implement
lasting changes.
Specifically, you will be responsible for delivering consulting engagements
to our Financial Services clients.
Within your role, you will:
provide regulatory and business compliance advice
assess, design, advise and help implement improved internal control systems
assist clients to embed regulatory requirements into business as usual
apply risk management frameworks to clients issues
What we are looking for in a candidate
At least 3 years expertise in one or more of the various sub-sectors
(Investment Banking, Retail Banking, Insurance, Investment/Asset Management) of
the Financial Services sector
Previous experience in the risk management/methodology fields within the
banking sector is desirable
Exposure to BASEL II / MiFID projects would be highly appreciated
English proficiency
Consultative nature, good analytical and problem solving skills
Good oral and written communication skills and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a team environment with a professional and enthusiastic
attitude
Ability to learn quickly, be self-motivated, demonstrate initiative and adapt
in a dynamic environment
Availability to travel
