Dear friends,

We have great news, and also need your help. As you know, the Romanian
Academic Society (SAR) is dedicated to fighting corruption and improving
governance. One of our project proposals has been chosen as a finalist in
the Global Integrity Impact Challenge, a contest for ideas to fight
corruption. After fierce competition, judges picked our proposal (monitoring
two Romanian regulatory agencies: energy and procurement) as one of the best
local solutions.

The winners are now being selected in an online vote, and in this we need
your help. If we get enough votes, our important project will get $1000 and
a chance at further funding.

You can vote for our entry - it only takes 10 seconds - and learn more about
this contest here: http://tinyurl.com/impactblog

Please do it by Thursday, April 16th , when the voting closes.

The Global Integrity Impact Challenge is a contest to create innovative ways
of addressing corruption. The Challenge entries use Global Integrity's
research ( http://report.globalintegrity.org ) as a starting place, then
apply local strategies to address the problems identified in the research.
Global Integrity is an independent, non-profit organization tracking
governance and corruption trends around the world.

Many thanks in advance. Truly,

Sorin Ionita
